High waves and wind force 8 made the rescue operation more difficult, but this morning it turned out that most of the passengers and crewmembers had been rescued. Survivors say a heroic role was played by the crews of fishing boats that were nearby. Helicopters from the British Navy also retrieved dozens of shipwrecked people from the sea.
