And so it partnered with HTC to launch its first smartphone. Also called Facebook phone. This is because Facebook posts and notifications were visible on both the homescreen and lockscreen of this phone. And the primary messaging in this phone was also done through Facebook. It was clear that facebook wanted to do marketing of facebook through this phone somewhere. But the customer did not like the specifications of the phone, nor any features, and even after spending crores of rupees in marketing, this smartphone of facebook, also spread.
