I just thought it might be fun for you guys to see some excerpts from my project Yumm Yumm's LIVE show at the Arkadia Niteclub on November 10th, in New Britain, CT, right after the 9/11 tragedy in the USA in New York City and the evolution of Yumm Yumm. The Arkadia Niteclub was a Polish club and so we incorporated some Polish dancing and speaking into the live show just for that specific event. This is the original music and line up featuring Sugar B (Jesselynn Desmond) & Candy Wrapper (Wade David Twitchell). All costumes were designed by Jesselynn who fronted the band in the live shows and club appearances along with Wade David Twitchell throughout 2002. The real vocals were by Nivek Tek, Donna Lori (Happy Day) and Anna-Clara Blixt Modin of Blue Monster from Sweden (Boom Boom Bang Bang and Ready Freddy). It was actually a filmed photoshoot directed by A. Raven Cruz. All costumes were designed by Jesselynn who fronted the band in the live shows and club appearances along with Wade David Twitchell throughout 2002. The real vocals were by Nivek Tek, Donna Lori (Happy Day and Super Duper Christmas) and Anna-Clara Blixt Modin of Blue Monster (Boom Boom Bang Bang and Ready Freddy). Yumm Yumm is a Bubblegum Dance project created by Nivek Tek in 2000. The original Yumm Yumm act was fronted by vocalist Jesselynn Desmond (Sugar B.) and model Brian John Olver (Candy Wrapper). In the Fall of 2001 and Spring of 2002, a promotional CD "Whole Lotta Fun - Demo EP" on Nivek Tek's own label "Dance Zone Productions" was shopped to major labels worldwide and DJs nationwide, but was never commercially released. This promotional CD had three songs, "Happy Day", "Boom Boom Bang Bang" (a song also covered by Blue Monster without Nivek's legal permission), and "Ready Freddy", as well as an enhanced section including Yumm Yumm's bio, sing-a-long lyrics, photos and the 2001 version of the "Happy Day" music video. Two versions of the promotional CD were produced, artwork and photos being the only differences to reflect the change of cast in 2002. The original version of "Happy Day", appeared on the Power Music Funwave 5 compilation. "Boom Boom Bang Bang" and "Ready Freddy" appeared on Power Music Max NRG PowerMix 6. These were the only official releases of the early Yumm Yumm tracks. The music on both "Boom Boom Bang Bang" and "Ready Freddy" was produced by Adam Edelmann also of Blue Monster and Nivek Tek. After ISV Entertainment acquired Dance Zone Productions in 2006, the label decided to give Yumm Yumm a complete makeover, all new cast and introduced a more Hands-Up sound and a fresh, less tongue-in-cheek, look. In 2007, ISV Entertainment released Yumm Yumm's first commercial release, a rework of their track "Happy Day" with mixes from Vasco & Millboy, Doctor No, The Shining, Freeloader and Mike Billa! Following the success of "Happy Day", ISV Entertainment released a brand new Maxi CD Single in the fall of 2008 titled "Super Duper Christmas" with mixes by Klubjumpers, DJ Analyzer and Kompulsor! "Super Duper Christmas" would feature the return of the original vocalist on "Happy Day" Donna Lori. In 2023, Nivek Tek and producer/video editor Keith Kemper recut the "Barbie" movie trailer to Happy Day (Vasco & Millboy Video Mix) and received a whopping 81,000 views in just 2 short months! Further proving that Yumm Yumm's upbeat music and positive message is timeless!
