Season 1 Episode 1 We had been kicking around the idea of doing a travel show for a while now. We were in Hagerstown, Maryland performing a stunt show at Twigg Cycles and a local told us about this rad loop to the Antietam Battlefields. The timing wasn't the best but we figured what the hell. Its now or never. So we bring to you Always Something! A traveling motorcycle show that takes you state by state highlighting crazy motorcycle adventures within each state. Maryland Locations: Sharpsburg, Maryland: Antietam Battlefields The adventure started in Hagerstown, Maryland and took us on a 32 mile loop through crazy twisty canopy roads all the way to Sharpsburg, Maryland, the home of the Antietam Battlefields. The Battle of Antietam is the single most bloody day in US. history. More than 20,000 Americans shed blood on this day. Maryland has always played a pivotal role in US history. The Battle of Antietam was a huge turning point during the civil war. This. being said we couldn't resist the opportunity to see it for ourselves. We got super lucky and on the day we arrived there were Civil War reenactments going on so we got first hand knowledge and an idea of what those involved felt on that very day. If your ever in the area its definitely a must see not to mention the amazing ride around to see it all. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Antietam+National+Battlefield/@39.4671016,-77.7389104,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x89c9e5ad0b25f195:0x6bad6e2599e8f00d!8m2!3d39.4670975!4d-77.7363355!16zL20vMDdua3kz?authuser=0&entry=ttu Oakland, Maryland: Snaggy Mountain Trail Road From Sharpsburg, Maryland, we made our way over to Oakland to find a trail to an amazing Rock Maze tucked away deep within the thick forests. The trailhead starts right off Snaggy Mountain Road. We got soaked in rain which made for a tricky day but definitely worth the effort. The Rock Maze itself is wild! Feels and looks like something out of a fantasy movie. If your ever in Oakland and get the chance to see it for yourself its highly recommended! https://www.google.com/maps/place/Snaggy+Mountain+Road+ORV+Trail/@39.4548159,-79.4662569,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x884aaba837bec05b:0x5d78b6417c3478f3!8m2!3d39.4548118!4d-79.463682!16s%2Fg%2F11jsnt24xl?authuser=0&entry=ttu Frederick, Maryland: Barbara Ritchie Classic Flat Track Race From Oakland, Maryland we hit the road over to Frederick, Maryland to see the Barbara Fritchie Classic.
