The reason for our trip to Mexico, it turns out, is that Bill Williamson, the charming fellow who shot us in the opening cutscene, and who we tried to kill by firing 6,000 bullets at Fort Mercer, has scarpered south of the border to see Javier Escuella, another member of John’s old gang. So, more cowboy busywork, heroics and redemption ahead, as we track Williamson and Escuella across the arid plains of Mexico. At least we get to enjoy that José González song one more time.
