No frying needed, better ingredients, fraction of the price. This is the first recipe of Copycat Restaurant Week — and the enchilada sauce mixed with taco seasoning is the secret that makes it taste exactly like the real thing. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - Small 6-inch flour tortillas, baked crispy - Ground beef and taco seasoning - Refried beans - Enchilada sauce and taco seasoning for pizza sauce - Sharp cheddar, diced tomatoes, black olives, green onions, sour cream #mexicanpizza #tacobell #copycatrecipes RECIPE — Taco Bell Mexican Pizza Copycat Ingredients: • 8 small 6-inch flour tortillas • 1 lb ground beef • 1 packet taco seasoning • 1 can refried beans, warmed • 1 can enchilada sauce • 1 tsp taco seasoning for pizza sauce • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded • 1 cup diced tomatoes • 1 can sliced black olives, drained • 3 green onions, sliced • ½ cup sour cream • Cooking spray Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray both sides of tortillas with cooking spray. Bake 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy. 2. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Add taco seasoning according to packet. Set aside. 3. Mix enchilada sauce with 1 tsp taco seasoning for the pizza sauce. 4. Lay 4 crispy tortillas on a sheet pan. Spread refried beans on each. Top with seasoned beef. Place second crispy tortilla on top. 5. Spoon pizza sauce over each top tortilla. Sprinkle cheese. Bake 5 minutes until cheese is melted. 6. Top with tomatoes, olives, green onions and sour cream. Serve immediately. Tips: ★ Watch tortillas closely — they go from perfect to burnt quickly at 400°F. ★ Warm refried beans before spreading so they don't tear the crispy tortilla. ★ The enchilada sauce mixed with taco seasoning is the secret that makes it taste like the real thing.
