The day starts in the vibrant city of Kermanshah, Iran, as I begin my long journey toward the Iran-Iraq border. Along the way, I am treated to some of the most beautiful, scenic views of Iran, with its rugged mountains, rolling hills, and desert landscapes. As I reach the border, things take an unexpected turn. Although I’ve made it this far, Iran’s visa on arrival has already expired, and now I’m in a bit of a pickle. Iran grants me just two more days to stay, but if I want to continue my journey without interruption, I’ll need to travel a whopping 1000 km to an embassy to extend my visa. The clock is ticking, and the uncertainty weighs heavily on me. But that’s not all! When I finally make it to the Iraq border, I’m hit with another setback—my visa on arrival is denied. I’m stuck at the border, unable to move forward, and I have no idea what my next steps will be. Will I make it across the border? Will I be able to sort out the visa issues in time? It’s a nerve-wracking moment in my journey, and I’m left waiting for answers. This vlog captures all the stress, beauty, and uncertainty of the moment.
