In this emotional episode of Island Life, we share the bittersweet story of a baby white-eared dove we rescued on the farm. We named him "Chicken" and poured our hearts into raising him, but tragically, he passed away. To honor his short but beautiful life, we built a DIY bird feeder with a metal roof so the wild birds around our house can always find a safe place to eat. To help us heal, we took a challenging motorcycle ride up the steep, rocky mountain roads to find some peace. We discovered a pristine, untouched wild beach with fluffy sand and crater-like tide pools that we've lovingly named "Chicken Beach." Join us as we grill a huge slice of fresh tuna over coconut charcoal, explore the tidal pools for marine life, and even taste some fresh sea urchin (swaki) straight from the ocean!
