Coinciding with the release of their sophomore album "Tuff Times Never Last", Kokoroko have unveiled ‘Da Duh Dah’ as the project’s latest single. A love song chronicling the fight to hold on to something special. Sonically the track is reminiscent of British soul bands Loose Ends and 52nd Street and like several tracks on the album takes cues from a more electronic space. While also bearing additional influence from The RH Factor and Donald Byrds’ ‘Places & Spaces’. The single’s accompanying video was directed by Akinola Davies Jr (Blood Orange, Neneh Cherry, Kae Tempset) is a playful and lo-fi affair showing the septet meeting up as young children and wandering through the streets of London. The whole video was shot on film, to exaggerate and deftly hone in on the child-like point of view.
