Can a €90 electric standing desk from Amazon actually be any good? In this video, I build the SONGMICS LSD136K01 Height-Adjustable Electric Desk from start to finish and take a close look at what you really get for such a low price. This affordable Amazon electric standing desk measures 160 × 70 cm, has an adjustable height range of 72–120 cm, and features a controller with 4 memory height presets. I bought this SONGMICS electric standing desk myself on Amazon for just €90, so this is an independent hands-on video with no sponsorship involved. We start with the complete unboxing, look at the desktop panels, lifting columns, steel frame, controller, hardware and cables, and then assemble the desk step by step. 🛒 SONGMICS LSD136K01 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/SONGMICS-LSD136K01-Height-Adjustable-Electric-Function/dp/B0CV4V22XL?th=1 @SONGMICS_HOME The SONGMICS LSD136K01 Height-Adjustable Electric Desk is designed as an affordable sit-stand workstation for a home office, study room, computer setup or everyday workspace. At this price, the interesting question is whether a budget electric desk can offer decent construction and useful features without spending several hundred euros. During the assembly, you can see how the lifting legs and feet are connected, how the adjustable crossbar and main steel frame fit together, how the support structure is aligned with the desktop, and how everything is secured underneath. I also show the installation of the electric height controller, motor connections and cable management. One thing that immediately surprised me is how much hardware you actually get for the money. The desk uses a substantial metal frame with powered lifting columns, while the desktop arrives in several sections to keep the package compact. Assembly takes some time, but the overall process is fairly straightforward once the parts are organized and the instructions are followed. The video also gives you a close look at the underside of the completed desk, including the frame construction, support rails, lifting mechanism, controller wiring and mounting points. Finally, you can see the fully assembled SONGMICS standing desk and judge the overall appearance for yourself. If you are looking for a cheap electric standing desk, an affordable height-adjustable desk, a budget sit-stand desk for a home office, or you have seen SONGMICS desks on Amazon and wondered whether they are worth considering, this video should give you a realistic idea of what arrives in the box and what the complete assembly process looks like. For only €90, this is certainly one of the more interesting budget desk purchases I have made. Watch the full video to see the entire build and the final result.
