This week has been a challenging one for me as I underwent gum surgery on my right-side last Friday. Due to this, I won't be able to do a video blog, but I wanted to share something special with all of you. An Original Song: “Still Waters Run Deep” - In lieu of my usual video blog, I am excited to share an original song titled “Still Waters Run Deep”, written by Todd Hartwell and yours truly. This song holds a special place in my heart, and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it. Song Notes • Todd Hartwell: Keyboards and Piano • Charlie Webber: Guitar and Vocals • Production: Madison Webb Group/Studio • AI Usage: All music was originally composed; AI used for video production to enhance the storyline • As Stroke Warriors, we keep strumming for life. Amen! Music has been a significant part of my rehabilitation journey following my stroke. It has not only served as a form of therapy but has also helped me regain strength, mobility, and coordination. Music therapy has been proven to have a multitude of benefits for stroke survivors, including: 1. Improving motor skills: Playing instruments or singing can help improve coordination and fine motor skills. 2. Enhancing cognitive function: Engaging with music can stimulate memory, attention, and problem-solving skills. 3. Boosting mood and emotional well-being: Music has the power to uplift spirits and reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. Final thoughts, music plays a vital role in the recovery and rehabilitation of stroke survivors. As I continue my own journey towards recovery, I am grateful for the healing power of music and the power of prayer and hope. Keep strumming for life, my fellow Stroke Warriors!
