About the Organization Poornnendu is a cultural collective formed in November 2024 by a group of passionate women artists dedicated to the preservation, revival, and popularization of Kerala’s traditional art forms, with special emphasis on Thiruvathira Kali. Founded by six women in their fifties and above, all of whom retired from high professional positions such as engineers, PhD scholars and other senior roles, Poornnendu began as a shared dream to reconnect with Kerala’s cultural roots. Within one year, the organization expanded to sixteen members, including skilled dancers and musicians, united by their commitment to artistic authenticity and heritage conservation. Vision & Mission Vision: To revive, preserve, and present Kerala’s traditional art forms in their authentic form for future generations. The team has also visited several highly accomplished art connoisseurs to explore their wealth of knowledge, experience, and traditional wisdom related to Thiruvathira Kali and Kerala’s cultural heritage.
