Stream Vogelfrei. I love (nearly) all the songs in this album. Odyssey's (Odyssey Eurobeat) MV for her song "Part of the Masterpiece" (personal favourite btw), and remixes of "Umapyoi Densetsu" and "Miss RGB" by the bikini bottoms have greatly inspired me to make my own visuals for music videos, and I think this song not having a music video (even if it's just 2D animated text) would be a shame so I said "yeah, well, I'm gonna make my own music video.. with cake, and hearts". The arrangement and overall sound of the remix is also very much inspired by her remixes of Bao's "Burst My Bubble" and Nihmune's "Seasons". Without her and her producing streams and masterclasses this remix probably wouldn't have taken the shape it has, and likely wouldn't have existed at all. Also shoutouts to turbo, keisari, and One Last Second for helping me shape this into what this has become. (Re)learning blender well enough to make a simple looping background was a challenge for me, and so was using After Effects with 70gb of space on my one drive that has 70gb of storage available. I had to constantly clear out media cache from AE and premiere to not run out of storage so i could finish the video, but I'm glad i managed to pull it of. It was a challenge to put everything together, and premiere collapsing imported audio to mono didn't help. Thankfully, importing the AE sequence with audio in it already let me use the full stereo song in premiere which was absolutely necessary. Yes, I could've exported the video as mkv, opened it and replaced the audio stream with the song's WAV file and remuxed it back so I could upload it, but after everything that happened up to that point, I guess I couldn't be bothered. Sorry shin'on!
