DHH just told Rails World that his company is done writing code by hand. I watched the whole keynote, and honestly, I could relate to a lot more of it than I expected. So here are my honest thoughts on it, and the one mindset I think developers should have in this AI age. I'm a senior full-stack engineer from India, and this is my channel, Codipedia. In this video I go through what DHH said about going "pencils down", about Rust code he never has to look at, and about the Basecamp 5 experiment where every AI pull request looked fine but together they turned the architecture into Swiss cheese. I talk about why I tried to avoid AI for a while, how the bottleneck moved from how fast a human can type code to your ideas (and maybe, with AGI, to compute and natural resources), and why I still believe fundamentals are what let you steer AI well. That's what this channel is about: the stuff others often skip. Why legacy systems work, what's behind the black boxes, and the things that make concepts click. The presentation is AI-generated, but the content is mine. 💬 What concept still feels kind of like magic to you? Something you use every day but couldn't build from scratch? Tell me in the comments, and I'll pick topics from there. 👍 If that's the kind of channel you want, subscribe. If you're early here, hitting Hype really helps a small channel. ▶️ Start here: my video on context rot, why your AI gets dumber the longer you talk to it.
