I got a new sponsor for 2021 called Ergon and they specialise in the best mountain bike saddles that money can buy so I get to work at fitting the new custom bike part to my Haibike electric bike before heading out to meet up with Brendan Fairclough for a socially distanced MTB ride around his local woods of Peaslake in the rolling Surrey hills. We start the session off by hitting some fun jib spots including a big drop to flat before riding some flowy dirt jump lines on our enduro bikes. From here Brendog shows me the spot where Olly Wilkins injured himself doing a huge drop and ended up breaking his ankle :( The woods is littered with MTB trails with all levels of difficulty including the craziest steep rampage style run that i've ever ridden thanks to bren! This line starts up in the tree's and has a double drop into a super fast technical berm that if missed would be horrible. This line really got the heart rate pumping and was the most adrenaline i've had for a while, biking is the best! From here we cruised our E-bike mountain bikes around the woods to finish off by hitting the big step up with its new take off that has been freshly built.
