In this episode, filmed on 11th & 12th September 2022, we visit Steinsdalsfossen to take a walk behind the waterfall. It is probably not looking as resplendent as usual due to the very dry summer this year. Still, we take a look and then enjoy the biggest ice creams ever with added sprinkles! We continue our journey towards Flåm, looking for a park up. We eventually decide on a rest stop and Ken cooks up a simple chilli. The next morning, we sample Gifflar for breakfast before getting back on the road as the weather closes in. After a brief stop for some food shopping to stretch our legs we get off the road to avoid the worst of the weather and Ken suggests a new idea for packing that Carol is not so sure about. We make a warming cup-a-soup for lunch then carry on in the rain, deciding to try a minor road around the lake.
