Here are some AI Savvy tips to keep you from falling prey to scammers or just wasting your time with app “engagement bots”. AI is used to keep people engaged on the app - Pictures- often are real pictures that are the AI-ed into other situations. You can tell by the way something seems too polished more like a magazine than a pic off your phone The about section is AI if it is really generic, talking about overarching goals or dreams without any actual detail - ie I want a relationship with the love of my life, where we take time caring and listening to each other Conversations can be AI generated: they are the ones that don’t get specific- Quickest way to test- ask them where there favorite restaraunt is, where they like to go etc. AI is used to create profiles and answer questions by scammers when talking to you Wording is generic, in line with what someone else wants to hear, not what a man/woman would actually say There is a lot of question asking without a lot of question answering If answers are given, they have a LOT of compliments (your so beautiful, handsome), endearments (hon, sweetie), and not a lot of specifics, once you know what you are looking for it will sound like they are stating goals or dreams rather than talking about real life *** real people can use these techniques too, but I would recommend staying away from anyone who does these things. ALL OF IT is designed to create a false sense of connection and intimacy before trust is earned over time. Best case they are co-dependant love bombing, worst case they are avoidant/narcisistic AI is used to create pictures that look “almost real” but are not 1st pic a little too “polished” Doesn’t match the rest of the pictures I don’t like the feel, but it’s not necessarily a deal breaker AI is used to write profiles of a REAL person This person is possibly not confident, they are trying to say the right thing not the thing that is authentic You can tell the profile is AI by imagining if a man or woman was on the phone and said this too you, would it feel odd? If it would feel strange to hear that particular wording or phrasing, chances are it’s AI To be clear, AI isn’t bad, but mostly people with bad intentions use it. BUT not all, so follow these tips and most importantly be suspicious until trust is earned over time and follow your gut instincts. If something feels wrong, leave, always.
