This is the third video in a mini-series looking at upgrades to an old Lima ringfield/pancake motor-driven Class 47 locomotive. This one is mainly about wiring up lighting to the decoder. Due to the length of time that it takes to carry out all of the lighting modifications, the project has been split into two separate videos. In this second one, we complete the installation of the directional lighting, hook it all up to the DCC decoder and give it test run. EDIT: Normally, I would solder the miniature lighting socket to the decoder and the plug to the body; this prevents the decoder shorting if the plug becomes detached. I meant to say in the video that I did it in reverse only due to it being a recycled socket.
