The most important meeting of my life… Over the last 10 years I spent a lot of time speaking with people in the meat industry, touring beef jerky factories and generally learning about the industry. There was a common opinion amongst many people I met… “Don’t start a beef jerky company”. The margins aren’t great, quality control is a huge pain, and there is way too much competition. For most of my life I lived based on the opinions of others, but things only got good for me when I stopped. People thought it was silly to throw away my old career when I started making TikTok videos. Just like many smart people strongly advised against @eatmaxjerky I have no idea how my life will turn out and if these things will be successful long term.
