I ran FLUX.1 Kontext in ComfyUI and here’s what happened In this video, you'll learn: • How to set up FLUX.1 Kontext in ComfyUI without breaking anything • Tips for using image prompts effectively with different styles • Why changing one setting made a huge difference in output quality So yeah, I finally got around to trying FLUX.1 Kontext in ComfyUI — been seeing a lot of people talk about it online, especially how well it handles image prompts and complex edits. I wanted to test it myself and see if it actually holds up compared to other models I’ve used. First thing I did was download the model from Hugging Face — there are GGUF and FP8 versions if you’re working with lower VRAM. Once that was done, I imported it into ComfyUI and set up the basic workflow. Honestly, it wasn’t too bad. If you’ve used ComfyUI before, most of the nodes will feel familiar. One of the cooler things I tried was taking a GTA-style image with text and keeping that comic-book look while swapping out the content — think "dragon-themed GTA" or something like that. Worked better than I thought it would. I also tested it with Einstein, turned him into anime style just by changing the prompt. Still kept his facial features recognizable, which is always a win in my book. There are a few settings worth tweaking, like Base Shift and Sigma Sampler. I left Sigma Sampler bypassed but played with Base Shift at 0.50 and got some solid results. You can also adjust resolution manually if you want — default works fine, but sometimes it’s good to have control. Anyway, if you're curious about FLUX.1 Kontext and how it runs inside ComfyUI, definitely check out the full walkthrough. It’s pretty powerful once you get the hang of it, and the flexibility with image prompts makes it super fun to experiment with.
