In this video, I will try to answer the question: What makes the most difference in audio quality in a wireless microphone system? is it the transmitter and receiver pair or does the microphone connected to the transmitter have the biggest effect on audio quality? The Sennheiser and Rode wireless systems compared in this video are used by many content creators for capturing audio. I was curious how they compared and thought that making a video showing the comparison would be a fun exercise. All visuals were shot with a Sony mirrorless camera. The boom mic and the wireless receivers were recorded into a MixPre audio recorder. The video and audio were synchronized and edited in Final Cut Pro. Audio captured from the boom mic was processed to remove room acoustics and tailor the sound. Raw audio was captured for all wireless tests. Levels were adjusted to match the project audio. 0:00 – Intro 0:54 – Importance of Audio 1:26 – Wireless system descriptions 2:38 – Testing procedures 3:31 – Rode Wireless GO and Rode Lavalier Mic 3:49 – Sennheiser G4 and ME-2 Mic 4:03 – Rode Wireless GO and ME-2 Mic 4:20 – Sennheiser G4 and Rode Lavalier Mic 4:38 – Conclusion and thoughts Passage read: War of the Worlds (H.
