Tari says her goodbyes to her and the rest of MD-5, and disconnects to focus on reviving Lucinia. The A.I. Lucks appears, now with a change of heart, and encourages Tari to continue on before allowing himself to be disintegrated. Then the A.I. program successfully transfers her life back to Lucinia as the server shuts down permanently. Meanwhile, Marco tosses aside Sheridan's corpse and was about to tell his minion to roll out of the lab, but then hears Evelyn screaming outbursts of anger. Lucinia, now fully conscious, slaps Evelyn in the face, denounces her for being vile and spoiled and locks her up on a chair. Belle begins crying joyfully on that Lucinia was alive and she missed her so much, and the both share a kiss. As Marco's minion takes Evelyn out into an empty room, Masa also notices Lucinia fully conscious. He asks Marco if he's gonna settle the score, but Marco replied that he beat him in Skybreakers and he lost his Meta Runner arm, so they are both on good terms now. As the police were about to arrive, they left the scene, while Evelyn, finally with blue lights on her clothes, starts sobbing. As Lamar regains consciousness, the three ex-TASCorp Meta Runners return and see a deactivated Tari and they all mourn for her death. The next day in the news, they cover Sheridan's Cyberattack on the Meta Runners, and reveal that Evelyn will be going to jail, despite her pleading to her daddy to not take her there. Additionally, Masa's murder charges were revealed to have been dropped after the authorities find out that Sheridan made him kill Lucks. As Marco was listening to the news, one of his minions came with Masa's second arm and asked what they should do with it. Marco originally thought about selling it, but then decided to put it in the storage just in case Masa ever wants to rematch. Masa and the gang go back to their hideout while Sofia shows her sister around the place. After honoring Tari and Theo one last time, Sofia drags a reluctant Belle to get initiated while they all laugh. Meanwhile, in New York City, the Italian-American brothers Mario and Luigi have started Super Mario Bros. Plumbing, a small plumbing business servicing the boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens. At the Punch-Out Pizzeria, the brothers proudly watch the commercial for the business that they spent their life savings to produce, but they then encounter their antagonistic former boss Spike, who derides them for leaving him to start their own business. Undeterred, Mario and Luigi go to do their first plumbing job at a Brooklyn couple's house. At some point, Lamar and Belle become a part of MD-5's first showmatch, and they won against two other Meta Runners. Marco continues to play Skybreakers and shares a fist bump with his own Meta Runner arms. Meanwhile, Evelyn, now defeated for good, has her mugshot taken.
