16 Blessed Days | DAY 7 | HAJJ 2026 | Jamarat – Day 1 🪨 Ep - 9 Assalamu Alaikum and welcome to Day 7 of my Hajj 2026 journey — 16 Blessed Days. In this episode, I continue one of the most emotional, challenging, and unforgettable days of my entire Hajj journey as I leave Muzdalifah and return to Mina on the morning of Eid. After spending the night under the open sky at Muzdalifah, collecting pebbles and resting alongside thousands of pilgrims, I returned to my tent in Mina. It was Eid morning, but there was very little time to rest. Two of my companions were already preparing to walk toward the Jamarat, so I joined them for my first experience of Ramy al-Jamarat, the symbolic stoning ritual performed during Hajj. The walk from Mina to Jamarat was an experience I will never forget. Thousands of pilgrims were moving in both directions, all trying to complete their Hajj rituals. The temperature was around 115°F, and many of us had barely slept after the long night at Muzdalifah. Despite the extreme heat, exhaustion, crowds, and long distances, everyone continued moving forward. What touched me most was seeing pilgrims helping one another along the way. People shared water, dates, and whatever they had, while others supported elderly pilgrims and those struggling with the intense heat. It was a powerful reminder of the unity, patience, sacrifice, and brotherhood that make the Hajj experience so special. After a long and exhausting walk, we finally reached the massive Jamarat complex. On this first day of Ramy, I performed the stoning of Jamrat al-Aqabah, throwing seven pebbles and saying “Allahu Akbar” with each throw. Alhamdulillah, my first Jamarat was complete. But the day was far from over. After Jamarat, I still had several important things to complete, including Tawaf al-Ifadah, confirming my Hady, having my hair cut, and eventually returning to Mina. While my companions headed back toward Mina, I continued toward Makkah to complete the next stage of my Hajj. Finding transportation to Masjid al-Haram was extremely difficult. The roads and transportation areas were filled with huge crowds of pilgrims. After walking several more miles, I finally reached a bus station packed with people. I waited for approximately two hours before I was finally able to board a bus toward Makkah. Exhausted from the heat, walking, crowds, and lack of sleep—but deeply grateful to Allah for allowing me to complete another important Hajj ritual—I continued my journey toward the Kaaba. And Day 7 of Hajj 2026 was still not finished. Join me in this episode as I share the real experience of Jamarat Day 1, walking from Mina to Jamarat in extreme heat, performing Ramy, navigating the enormous crowds, and continuing onward toward Makkah and Masjid al-Haram. May Allah accept the Hajj of every pilgrim and grant those who dream of performing Hajj the opportunity to visit the Holy Kaaba. Ameen. 🤲 NEXT EPISODE: TAWAF AL-IFADAH 🕋 | HAJJ 2026 May Allah accept our Hajj, forgive our shortcomings, and grant everyone longing to make this sacred journey the opportunity to experience it.
