Day in my Life videos are The Most Dangerous Videos to Make on YouTube, and here is why. I think viewers don't give people like Emma Chamberlain enough credit... I'm here to tell you that there is a reason why Emma Chamberlain can do it and you can't (jk that is a little mean). With all of this time at home, many people have decided to start a youtube channel in 2021. People want to show things like “a day in my life working from home” , “day in my life in quarantine” and “a productive day in the life” . Like me, some students have extra time to actually film videos of their day while they are going about it and, thus, we now have an unlimited supply of “ day in my life at highschool”, “day in my life at college”, and “day in my life at university”, and of course “online school day in my life” videos. The day in my life genre started off with some of the oldest youtubers , the original youtubers , people like iJustine , JennaMarbles , even Shane Dawson. Eventually it started to grow and it started to get really intense , in-depth , and high production. With vloggers like Casey Neistat what you don't see is actually the most important part in making the vlog special. This was the next step, the daily vlog Emma Chamberlain went back to vlogging's routes but put her own twist on it. The Emma Chamberlain style video was born. Emma was able to make people enjoy the mundane and make a life for herself while doing it. By just doing vlogs and going from 0 to 100k subscribers on youtube and beyond, Emma was able to create her own brand. She has her own coffee company with Chamberlain Coffee , a clothing line at Pacsun and she gets invited to Louis Vuitton red carpets! Emma Chamberlain's house is also paid for by just making fun videos on the internet. Emma created her own genre of video, even to the point where there are videos that explain how to edit like emma chamberlain and emma chamberlain editing style guides. People like best dressed and kelly stamps are some of the biggest contenders to come out of this genre. But it isn't just best dressed and kelly stamps , it seems like everyone is uploading day in my life style videos now and getting a million views or more! But there is a dark side of daily vlogging that people often don't discuss, and that is what I am here to explore today. These relatable YouTubers can't keep it up forever. Once money and fame start getting to them, they will often lose their relatability. Over time, some channels may become YouTubers who are not relatable anymore. --- On this channel I edit and upload videos about editing and uploading videos. I hope you guys liked this video essay.
