✅ Why Every Brand Now Needs a Content Factory | Julia Winn (Proxima) at Built By HER 👇@Tash_courtenay 🙏 Watch The Video & Don’t Forget to Like, Comment, Subscribe, & Share 🧡 💠Julia Winn, Head of Product (and Head of AI) at Proxima, speaking at Built By HER, the AI and commerce summit hosted by Shopify and empowHER, designed to close the gap in AI adoption for women in commerce by bringing together founders, operators and senior leaders for a hands-on, workshop-led day focused on making AI tangible, practical and operational. 💠In this talk, Julia makes a case that should be required listening for every founder, brand operator and CMO running paid social right now: the era of the single hero ad carrying 40 percent of brand revenue is over, and the brands that don't operationalise as content factories are about to feel it in their CPAs. 💠The argument has two halves. The first is operational. Modern e-commerce brands cannot ship paid social the way they used to. The old model, find a few winners, let them run for a year, do occasional refreshes, is being actively penalised by the ad platforms. 💠The new model demands constant ideation, constant production, constant refresh, across dozens of creative angles per product. Most brands, Julia argues, are still trying to bolt this onto a creative team and an agency relationship that was designed for a completely different era. Becoming a content factory isn't a stylistic choice anymore; it's a structural requirement of the platform. 💠The second half is technical, and it explains why. 💠Between April and October last year, Meta rolled out Andromeda, a fundamental rewiring of how the ads system decides what to show whom. The old logic of demographic and interest filters has been quietly retired. 💠In Andromeda, the creative is the targeting. The same product with different creative will reach completely different buyers, which means creative diversity (across format, model, background, hook, narrative, persona) is now the primary lever for reach. Brands with low diversity are seeing CPAs rise, ads suppressed by Meta's similarity detection, and entire creative portfolios collapsing into uniformity precisely when uniformity is the most expensive thing they can produce. 💠Julia walks through the dark patterns she sees across agencies and in-house teams: AI-generated reports that look authoritative but are built on truncated data and questionable judgement calls, "personas" pulled from ChatGPT that have no statistical foundation and can't be translated into briefs, and creative strategies that double down on what worked last month and accidentally box brands into a corner Andromeda will punish. 💠She is generous about why this happens, LLMs do not have the judgement to make the twenty decisions a real ad data analysis requires, and useful about what to do instead. She then walks through what Proxima is building to solve it: a commerce graph that enriches first-party brand data with cross-brand engagement and demographic signals, a persona library running across hundreds of dimensions (income, taste profile, geographic distribution, household composition, format engagement), and a brief generation engine that turns those signals into hyper-tailored, strategically diverse creative briefs. 💠The ambition, in her words, is a Pinterest feed of data-driven ad ideas, hyper-personalised, ready to feed a content factory at the cadence Andromeda now demands. Proxima is moving from pilot to beta, and Julia announces a free trial for Built By HER attendees during the talk. 💠A genuinely substantive talk for anyone running paid social, building a creative team, evaluating an agency relationship, or trying to understand why their CPAs are rising despite the same playbook that worked twelve months ago. 👉Proxima → https://www.proxima.ai/ 👉Built By HER · EmpowHer → https://empowherconnect.com/ 👉Tash Partners → https://www.tash.partners/ 👉Tash Talks newsletter → https://www.linkedin.com/newsletters/tash-insights-7059634523751202816/ #BuiltByHER #Shopify #empowHER #ContentFactory #MetaAndromeda #PaidSocial #Proxima #JuliaWinn #DTC #ecommercemarketing 💠 Linkedln: 👉 https://www.linkedin.com/in/natashacourtenaysmith/ 💠 Instagram: 👉 https://www.instagram.com/tash_courtenay/ 💠 Follow on TikTok: 👉 https://www.tiktok.com/@tash_courtenay_smith 💠 Twitter: 👉 https://x.com/tash_courtenay?lang=en 💠 Work with me: 👉 https://www.tash.partners/work-with-me 💠 The Notting Hill Shopping Bag: 👉 https://www.nottinghillbag.com/ 💠 Join my community: 👉 https://www.tash.partners/newsletter-sign-up #tashcourtenaysmith #personalbranding #AdTech #tashtalks #MarketingStrategy #DigitalTransformation #AdvertisingIndustry #GrowthMarketing #MarketingTrends #BusinessGrowth #podcast #founder #ceo #TashPartners #tiktokmarketing #AffiliateMarketing #AgenticCommerce #Ecommerce #ShopifyAI #BrandStrategy #BuiltByHER #Shopify #empowHER #ContentFactory #MetaAndromeda #PaidSocial #Proxima #JuliaWinn #DTC
