Your Song Songtext “It′s a little bit funny This feeling inside I'm not one of those who can easily hide I don′t have much money, but boy if I did I'd buy a big house where we both could live If I was a sculptor, ha But then again, no Or a man who makes potions in a traveling show I know it's not much, but it′s the best I can do My gift is my song, and this one′s for you And you can tell everybody This is your song It may be quite simple, but now that it's done I hope you don′t mind I hope you don't mind That I put down in the words How wonderful life is while you′re in the world.” Nicole Margret Zennaro – Organist, Pianist & Soprano | Biography Nicole Margret Zennaro (née Grünewald), born in 1969 in Neuwied, Germany, is an internationally acclaimed organist, pianist, and soprano specializing in classical and sacred music. She began playing piano at the age of three under the guidance of her mother, who quickly recognized her exceptional talent. By the age of nine, she discovered the organ—often referred to as the “queen of instruments”—and gave her first performance in a Holy Mass at just eleven years old. Early success followed with multiple piano awards in Rhineland-Palatinate, marking the beginning of her professional musical career. Zennaro studied Catholic Church Music at the University of Church Music in Rottenburg am Neckar with Professor Bernhard Marx before continuing her studies under the renowned organist and improviser Wolfgang Seifen at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf. She completed her degree in 1998 with the prestigious Concert A Diploma. Alongside organ and piano, she also trained as a soprano and is known for her expressive and refined vocal sound. Her artistic inspiration was further shaped by early music studies, including a masterclass with Emma Kirkby. She has also participated in masterclasses with leading organists such as Guy Bovet, Peter Planyavsky, and Michael Radulescu. Nicole Margret Zennaro has performed extensively across Germany and internationally, including concerts in major venues in Tokyo. She has held positions as an organist in Neuwied, Friedrichshafen, and Krefeld, and served as cantor at the pilgrimage church in Marienbaum (near Xanten). From 2000 onward, she lived and worked in Venice, Italy, where she performed in prestigious locations such as St Mark’s Basilica. Her musical style is deeply influenced by the French organ tradition and the legendary instruments of Aristide Cavaillé-Coll. Among her greatest inspirations is Olivier Latry, titular organist of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, as well as the iconic pianist Martha Argerich. Known for her passionate, expressive, and emotionally powerful performances, she captivates audiences worldwide with her unique artistry in organ and classical music. “It was never my ambition to become successful. I simply wanted to make people happy through my music.” As of January 2026, she serves as Director of Church Music and leads the Kantorei at the Evangelical-Lutheran Lister Church in Hanover, Germany. 🎥 Discover more performances on her YouTube channel and experience the power of organ and classical music.
