I began work on this video interested to test out a unique concept for an omni-directional treadmill. However, after building and testing it, I was curious to see if the same concept could be used to create an omni-directional car instead. Making this change required some pretty big alterations to the design, but after several modifications I ended up with a novel and unique car that could manoeuvre round some tight corners and obstacles.
