However if you don’t own one like me you can try this method. Hope it helps! 🌸 The process will get easier and neater with practice. ‼️Please be very careful while working with the flame and the hot fork. This step is only for adults (18+ years old). Not suitable for children.‼️ 1. Take a fork and heat it. Use it to make holes along the zip on both sides. (In this video I have made holes at the very beginning and end of the zip but for future projects I would recommend not making holes at the very beginning and end. Leave a little space and then start making the holes.) 2. Take a darning needle and long yarn tail (double strand). Make a knot at the end. 3. Align zip behind the brim of the pouch as shown. 4. Attach zip and pouch together using running stitch ie pass needle-yarn back & forth under the chain/2 loops/V which sit on top of our stitches and then through the hole. And pull through. 6. Now pass needle-yarn through the hole and then under the chain/2 loops/V of the next stitch. Pull through. Keep repeating. 7 . Continue along side 1. 8. After completing side 1, continue repeating the same steps till the end for side 2. 9. Secure with knots and weave-in ends on the inside of the pouch. Optional: Cut the extra zip, reattach fastener/stopper (the small silver part which stop the zip from running free) Add finishing touches for a neat look (for eg, to hide the extra holes at the beginning and end of the zip I made running stitch using purple yarn in those holes, weave-in yarn tails inside).
