Filmed on March 27th, 2023 with @TagAnalysis & @PNWElevatorAviation. Here is a decent but very basic elevator that has recieved multiple mods over the years. This elevator was installed in 1925 as a Manually Controlled Otis when the building was built and then later automated/modded in the 50s into an Otis Black Button and later on in either the 1990s or early 2000s, Otis came in and gave this elevator a Custom Series 1 mod with the Red Series 2 indicator. I stopped at this building right before the pandemic in early 2020 and saw this elevator with the Custom Series 1 fixtures but didn't bother filming it as it didn't strike me as anything all that special at the time, but now I regret not filming it, cause fast forward to now, I come back here to find that this elevator has been modded YET AGAIN with Series M2! This modernization isn't terrible and I will say the new cab is an improvement over the previous one, but I don't particularly think it was all that necessary as the existing elevator isn't that old.... Despite the amount of mods this elevator has recieved however, there is ANOTHER elevator here in this building that is NOT modernized AT ALL! You will see a little sneak peak of it in this video and my video riding it will go live tomorrow so stay tuned for that! In the meantime though, enjoy some rides on this boring and pointlessly modded but decent Otis Series M2 Traction. Installed in 1925. (Manually Controlled Otis) Modernized: 1st Modernization: Circa 1950s. (Otis with Black Button fixtures, New Cab, New Motor, New Controller, New Automatic Doors, basically a full replacement.) 2nd Modernization: Circa 1990s or Early 2000s. (Otis with Custom Newer Series 1 fixtures, New Motor, New Controller, New Lanterns, Cab Redone, etc. Only the doors and door track left original) 3rd Modernization: Circa 2021 or 2022 (Otis with Series M2 fixtures, New Lanterns, New Motor, New Controller, New Cab, New Doors, etc. Only the floor of the car left original.)
