Save up to £3750 on an EV with the Electric Car Grant: https://bit.ly/Electric-Car-Grant-2025 This is the all-new Audi S6 e-tron! While we have the all-electric variant here, the features and looks largely mirror what will be available with the petrol-powered A6. The question is, does it offer enough to sway you away from competitors like the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class? Let’s take a closer look. Up front, the S6 has a blanked-out grille, whereas the petrol version would have a larger, open grille. The S6 has split headlights, while the A6 comes with conventional headlights - although both offer some of the best headlight tech available in any car! Along the side, there are sleek door handles and black surrounds around the windows. At the back, there’s a full-length light bar and a diffuser design at the bottom. The interior of the car screams one word: SCREENS! There is a huge combined infotainment and digital dials screen that runs across the dash, and there’s even a third screen on the dashboard for the front passenger! The infotainment system has been updated for the new A6/S6, although we think you’ll still find better systems in a BMW or Mercedes. Elsewhere, there are soft-touch touch nice materials throughout the cabin, and especially in the S6 the seats are very comfortable. However, it’s not all good - if you look lower or closer, you’ll find a bit of scratchy plastic, sadly. When it comes to power trains, there are lots to choose from. The entry-level is a 2-litre 4-cylinder petrol with 204hp and FWD. There’s also a 2-litre diesel available, but this comes with AWD as well as 204hp. There are also four different electric versions. Two are RWD, with the entry-level producing 326 hp, while the top-of-the-range is the S6 e-tron. It runs dual motors that combine to deliver 551hp and 840Nm. The petrol-powered A6 range starts from £51,335, whereas the e-tron edition starts from £62,540. As for the S6 e-tron edition we have here, it starts from an eye-watering £99,330! So is it worth it?
