* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Peoria, Illinois — On May 8, 2026, Peoria Police responded to reports that 41-year-old Cortez White was threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend, 42-year-old Ashley Stenson. According to the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Report, Stenson had flown from Atlanta to Peoria that day for an upcoming wedding when White unexpectedly appeared at the airport and took her with him in his pickup truck. While inside the vehicle, Stenson began texting relatives that White was threatening her and would not let her leave. Her family contacted 911 at about 6:45 p.m., providing police with descriptions of the pair and White’s truck. Stenson continued sending updates about their location until she reported that they had arrived at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel. An officer went to the hotel and found White and Stenson standing on the sidewalk outside. As the officer stepped from his marked squad car and asked them to identify themselves while keeping their hands up, White immediately pulled a handgun and shot Stenson. The report states that White then stood over her and continued firing before turning the gun toward the officer. The officer drew his service weapon and fired multiple rounds at White, who attempted to flee as the gunfire continued. The officer pursued him until White was struck and fell to the ground, where he was taken into custody. White was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead. Investigators later determined that White had shot Stenson five times, including two shots to her head and one to her chest. The handgun used in the shooting, a Taurus 9mm semi-automatic, was recovered on the sidewalk, while a second loaded Glock 9mm that had previously been reported stolen was found inside White’s nearby pickup truck. Investigators also recovered numerous spent shell casings, and several vehicles and the exterior of the hotel had been struck by gunfire. After reviewing the evidence, the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office concluded that the officer was legally justified in using deadly force, finding that he reasonably believed it was necessary to protect himself and others from death or great bodily harm. The report states that the officer had witnessed Stenson being shot and then had the gun pointed directly at him, leaving him with no reasonable alternative but to engage White. 🚨𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑒𝑙 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑢𝑎𝑙 𝑑𝑜𝑐𝑢𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑦𝑠𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑝𝑜𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑢𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑢𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑐𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑣𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑠. ⚠️𝑉𝑖𝑒𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑑𝑣𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑑 𝑑𝑢𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑢𝑠 𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑡.⚠️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Special thanks to Shout-Out Supporters on Patreon: - 'William Prowse IV' - 'Quân La' - 'Zixuno' - 'HauntSync.com' - 'Rate A Creator with Omar Alkahlout' - 'Forever A Loner' - KHALID - Michael Griffin - John Doe - 'Twitchypowpow' - Rose - Tyrell Robertson - christine Grinter - 'The Evil Queen' - Benjamin Osgood - LJ - Brianna Wilkins - Elisabeth Craig - Bobby Roach - Cody Stephens - Troy Polansky - Tulla Belle - 'quadrakyiro' - "John B.
