Don't eat the REAL butter, make this one instead! ✨Recipe: Ingredients: Marshmallow • 3 packets unflavored gelatin • 1 cup water, divided • 1 cup light corn syrup • 1½ cups granulated sugar • ¼ tsp salt • 1 tsp vanilla extract • Yellow food coloring Gummy: • 4 packets unflavored gelatin • 1 cup water, divided • 2½ cups lemon gummy bears (substitute or combine with pineapple gummy bears if needed) • 4 tbsp light corn syrup • Edible paint, for decorating Directions: 1. In a small bowl, bloom the gelatin in ½ cup water for about 5 minutes. 2. In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, remaining ½ cup water, and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth and fully combined. 3. Transfer the bloomed gelatin to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment. With the mixer running on low, slowly and carefully pour in the hot sugar syrup. 4. Once all the syrup has been added, increase the mixer to high and whip for about 10 minutes, or until the mixture becomes thick, light, and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla and a few drops of yellow food coloring. 5. Pour the marshmallow mixture into a lightly greased pan and spread into an even layer. Cover with parchment then let set overnight, then remove from the pan and cut into butter stick-sized pieces. 6. To make the gummy coating, bloom the gelatin in ½ cup water for about 5 minutes. 7. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the gummy bears, remaining ½ cup water, and corn syrup. Heat gently, stirring frequently, until the gummy bears are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. 8. Remove from the heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved and incorporated. Pour the gummy mixture into a shallow glass container that is large enough for dipping. 9. Dip each marshmallow stick into the gummy mixture, carefully rotating it until completely coated. Transfer to a tray lined with lightly greased parchment paper, then refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until the coating is set. 10. Remove from the refrigerator and let the coated marshmallows sit at room temperature for about 4 hours, allowing the gummy exterior to dry slightly and become smooth to the touch. 11. Use edible paint to add butter-wrapper details to the outside of each squishy, then let the paint dry for about 1 hour. 12. Squish, squeeze, and enjoy this edible take on a classic sensory toy! 🧈
