A unique case has come to light from Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh bordering Nepal. Here the leave application form of a police constable is going viral on social media. In a letter sent to the Additional Superintendent of Police, the constable wrote that the marriage had taken place a month back and the wife was upset because of not being discharged from duty. When she calls, she hands over the mobile phone to the mother. This application letter of a constable posted at PRB of Nautanwa police station in Maharajganj district is becoming very viral. The constable has written in the application for leave that he got married only last month. After farewell, he left his wife at home and went on duty. Now he is not getting leave. This angered the wife. Not talking even after repeated calls. After receiving the call, she gives the mobile to her mother-in-law i.e. the soldier's mother without talking. The soldier also wrote, 'I have promised my wife that I will definitely come home on my nephew's birthday. Kindly grant me 7 days casual leave ie CL from 10th January. Will be grateful to you. Means the soldier has expressed the pain arising out of his wife's displeasure through words on the prayer letter.
