Taken on: 9/5/2025 So, I would head to Frankfort Ave in Richlawn at the crossing. And after hearing that the CSX I142 was heading northeast, I waited for it to approach. When it reached milepost 6.2, that I knew it was coming. About 30 minutes later, I saw a clear signal, and I set up to watch as CSX I142 finally arrived with an CSX CW44AC (YN2) solo at the railroad crossing on the CSX LCL Subdivision. This crossing is likely been an L&N TPC installation. In the 1990s, the lights on the signals here were upgraded to Safetran 12x24-inch lights. Then, in the 2000s, the far signal was entirely replaced. Both gate arms are still the older, diagonally striped ones, which is rather nice to see, IMHO. The WRRS bell also still sounds quite healthy, so hopefully, it will stick around for a good while longer.
