Rath Yatra is tomorrow (27 June) in Puri, Odisha. The chariots of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra are ready. Every year more than 200 people prepare the three 45 feet high chariots in just 58 days. These chariots are made completely by hand from 5 types of special wood. No scale is used to measure the wood, rather chariots 45 feet high and weighing more than 200 tons are prepared by measuring with a stick. New chariots are made every year. They start from Akshaya Tritiya and the chariots are ready two days before the Gundicha Yatra. After the Yatra is over, the chariots are dismantled. According to mythology, once Radha Rani reached Kurukshetra to meet Shri Krishna and there she requested Shri Krishna to come to Vrindavan. One day, accepting Radharani's request, Shri Krishna reached the gates of Vrindavan with his brother Balaram and sister Subhadra. Radharani, gopis and the people of Vrindavan were so happy that they seated the three of them on the chariot, removed the horses and pulled the chariot with their own hands and took it around the city. Apart from this, the people of Vrindavan hailed him by calling him Jag ke Nath i.e. Jagannath. Since then, this tradition started in Jagannath apart from Vrindavan. 👉For Business Inquiries Contact Us At :- Email I'd - " [email protected] " ✅INSTAGRAM : @arvind.aroraj ✅ FACEBOOK PAGE : A2 motivation Arvind Arora ✅ TWITTER : @ArorajArvind ✅Arvind Arora Show Instagram : @thearvindarora.show Please Note :- Some of the pics and footages are not real and not related to content and only used for related visualization purposes.
