That, and Alpine are at pains to only ever call it a ‘sport fastback’, never an SUV. Nonetheless, it is a five-seat crossover aimed at the Porsche Macan and the Tesla Model Y, and Alpine promises that the exterior design is 85% true to the production car we’ll see in 2025. That, and although the interior is all show-car silliness, we know the real A390’s powertrain will consist of three electric motors, with one at the front and one for each rear wheel.
