Overall I think the quality of this show was very good, above the norm BL we typically get, with a somewhat unique plot line. It's not really my type of show - I prefer the dramatic/action type dramas but it was done very well. My one major issue was what the heck about Mhok! Mhok and Day felt extremely one sided, with Mhok constantly giving and Day returning nothing. Mhok was always understanding and patient with Day (even when Day was interested in August, he took a step back and even got upset when Agust tried to leave - probably my favorite part of the show XD ). Mhok helped bring Day back into the world, but what did Day do for him? I understand this show is about Day's life and struggles about coming to terms with and living without sight but geeze, poor Mhok - all of his needs were just brushed under the rug. We got 12 episodes all about Day's struggles, it would have been nice - and I was expecting - to get at least one ep or part of an ep to address Mhok's own heartbreak and loss. Let Day comfort him for once. But we never got that. And tbh I don't think Mhok ever felt pity for Day (and when Day accused him of that I realized Day is only concerned about himself and not the trauma of what Mhok experienced the last time he loved someone. He didn't even ask himself WHY Mhok is reacting this way and when Mhok brings up his sister it doesn't even phase him, just continues to feel pity for himself! So I was pretty disappointed with this major missing plot hole. Mhok deserved better and I'm glad they spent time apart because Day needed to grow up (emotionally) and learn to take care of himself otherwise no matter who he dated, they were always going to be just another caregiver and not a true partner. *** Happy (super late) bday @skyofuntamedfire it might not be as pretty or creative as last years but I know you were enjoying this drama and don't have much time for watching shows these past months so I hoped to give you something you loved condensed and easy to watch when you miss it!
