At the age of 21, he was sentenced to 13 years in prison for directing a criminal enterprise and for the supply of large commercial quantities of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine otherwise known as MDMA. During his time of incarceration, he was fortunate enough to meet great positive mentors who challenged his perception and attitudinal outlook on life, lessons on business and the value of education and self-worth. ConFit is an idea that started from a prison yard to offer prison-style training to the public and the main goal is to create a more accepting society and coach ex-inmates to become not just great fitness instructors but leaders who give back to their communities. There’s a social issue that needs to be addressed and ConFit's plan is to take this matter into their own hands and bridge this gap through fitness. They are an outdoor fitness community where all the trainers are ex-inmates. People with a criminal past have untapped skills and knowledge that can be mentored and polished for positive impact. ConFit's mission is to break down negative criminal stereotypes by creating holistic fitness communities and offer incredible training sessions.
