Simplii Financial is an Online Bank that has been around since 1996 and it is becoming one of Canada's Top Online Banks. Learn Why Today. 🔥 Get an Extra $50 when Opening a Simplii Account - CLICK HERE 👉https://mbsy.co/3nH3V9 🔥 Confused About Credit & Credit Cards? - CLICK HERE 👉https://bit.ly/3mXLkBq 🔥 Get My FREE Book On Credit & Credit Cards - 👉 http://bit.ly/2P6QOgy 🔥 Video, How to Dispute Purchases: 👉 https://bit.ly/3s8y0fk Simplii Financial is another Canadian Only Online Bank similar to Tangerine. Just like Tangerine Bank, Simplii Financial offers a lot of its services for FREE. And the great thing is that Simplii offers a lot of services and products that the average customer would be content with. They provide checking accounts, savings accounts, credit cards, personal lines of credit, loans, investment options, TFSAs, RRSPs, GICs, HELOC and more. 1) The biggest reason that Simplii is getting a lot of traction is due to their no fee unlimited checking account, since the average brick and mortar bank will charge you around $10 to $30 for a similar service. This means at Simplii you can swipe your card as many times you want, send as many e-transfers you want, and withdraw/deposit at any CIBC ATM as many times you want and NOT incur ANY FEES. Please note at Simplii Financial you get your very own physical Debit Card that you may use for retail and online purchases. 2) Just like Tangerine, Simplii used to offer a pretty decent high interest rate, but it is currently at 0.10%, which is nothing. There are other banks like Canadian Tire Bank and EQ bank which offer current interest rates of 1.50% to 2.30%. Simplii's high interest rate may go back to 1% to 3% just be on the lookout. **Please Note** Interest rates for saving accounts change all the time use this link to find the latest updates: https://www.highinterestsavings.ca/chart/ 3) Simplii offers an excellent no annual fee credit card that is great to use to either start building your credit, or to use on the daily. Their current cashback rates are 4% on restaurant/dining out/fast food/bars/coffee shops, 1.5% on grocery, pharmacy and gas, and 0.5% on everything else. Since the card carries no fees all that cashback goes straight into your pocket. Compared to Tangerine, Simplii does offer a higher rate of cashback 4% for dining out purchases, however Tangerine does allow its customers to select 3 purchase categories to receive 2% cashback on. There are multiple purchase categories to choose, but for me I choose the 2% on gas, 2% on groceries and 2% on recurring bills for my Tangerine Credit Card. Thus you can get a higher cashback on grocery, gas and even pharmacy if you choose those categories on Tangerine, compared to Simplii's 1.5% cashback on grocery, gas and pharmacy purchases. So should you get the Simplii Credit Card or the Tangerine Credit Card? If you're new to credit get either or and start learning the system, and once you established your credit habits and your Credit Score/Report then why not get both? Use Tangerine for gas, groceries and recurring bills, and then use your Simplii Credit Card for dining out. Thus maximizing your cashback. Simplii tends to have pre-approvals for their Credit Cards, so as long as you have a bank account at Simplii in good standing for around a year you will most likely get pre-approved for their Credit Card. 4) Just like Tangerine with Simplii you're limited to the prebuilt portfolios that they offer. They do not offer self direct brokerage accounts, however they do offer 7 investments portfolios based on your risk tolerance. Just like Tangerine they are both "set and forget it", and you can start investing with as little as $100. The management fees are not high around 0.95% to 1.12%, however other brokerage accounts such as Wealth Simple provide the same service but for less fees! And last but not least as mentioned in the video Simplii has no branches, however you can still use CIBC's ATM for self service. For many this isn't a concern, and for those having a branch is important and you really don't want to pay any fees then I recommend many of the Credit Unions available in Canada, such as Meridian or Alterna. --- For business or one-on-one consulting for ecommerce, tech, stock investing, marketing, business scaling, money management, credit and banking, you can reach me at [email protected] *Some of the links and other products that appear on this video are from companies which Mike Gap will earn an affiliate commission or referral bonus.
