Recently, I stumbled across an old audio file of an english cover I made of Laplace Chocolat early last year, just by pure chance. I always knew there was beauty in the imperfections of life, and that those imperfections were in fact the very things that made life so beautiful. But I realized that it never fully resonated and clicked within me until very recently. I thought it was beautiful how pretty this song sounds despite the messy emotions it depicts. There’s no clean resolution to this messiness in the end in this song, and I realized that sometimes, you don’t need to rush to a clean resolution by pushing through it with logic, and that you can savor any flavor life gives you just to be present with it without worrying about the past or future. Being able to process everything cleanly or quickly doesn't make you better than anyone else, because the different ways people digest emotions give birth to different kinds of uniqueness and beauty to what we experience in life. The original song might not have been written with such deep intention, but I just thought it was crazy how these lyrics I wrote last year resonated so strongly with a profound epiphany I had just a couple days ago!
