I just know what I enjoy. Hopefully it amuses someone. Sight Reads Almost all playthroughs are sight reads. Repetition makes me bored & ruins my enjoyment of songs. No Fail I don't like being interrupted in the middle of a song. I feel like I get better faster this way. I'll re-encounter parts that challenge me later in the song or in other maps. No Arrows I like to feel spontaneous & make up my own moves. It also allows me to play at higher speeds. Speed I like fast energetic songs & frequently speed them up. Unfortunately, this also sometimes reduces recorded song audio quality. This setting simultaneously increases the NJS. NJS (Note Jump Speed) Higher speeds usually excite me more. Increasing it above 20 simultaneously reduces the Spawn Offset I think. This is why I tend to increase the Spawn Offset to compensate. Spawn Offset Distance from the player that the notes start at. Positive values are farther away from the player, negative values are closer. I like a "medium" distance. Debris I keep it on because it looks cool & feels exciting. Position I like for most of the blocks to come at my chest, & to have to reach for high blocks. I do this with a Y Offset in Beat Saber Room Adjust settings. Movement I'm always moving around (tip-toeing, dancing, jogging in place, etc.) because I use Beat Saber as a workout, want to keep my heart rate up, & it seems to help arm movement. Tracking My controllers sometimes loose tracking. I usually pause the game when I notice it until tracking is re-established. The cause might be a window or lazy Lighthouse positioning, I'm not sure. I apologize for any displeasure this may cause. Camera I tested multiple settings to find a balance between excitement & comfort. I smoothed it some but not as much as I could have as I personally I like some movement. Let me know if you have thoughts. Game Version I frequently use older Beat Saber versions because of compatibility with mods I like. I try newer versions but keep going back.
