Onsite visit to P2 Gold's Gabbs Project, Nevada. Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/p2-gold-tsxvpgld-undervalued-investment-series-with-joseph-ovsenek-10028 Recording date: 21st May 2026 P2 Gold's Gabbs project sits at the center of a rare combination in Nevada's mining sector: a large, well-understood copper-gold porphyry system with the infrastructure and permitting groundwork already largely in place. The deposit has been known for over a century, but earlier operators lacked the metallurgical technology to process combined copper-gold ore economically, treating Sullivan and Lucky Strike as separate, uneconomic targets. The application of modern SART processing changes that calculus entirely, allowing P2 Gold to extract both metals from a single, integrated operation. Management is actively optimizing beyond the existing PEA. Throughput is being increased from 9 to 12 million tonnes per year, and the mill start-up date has been pulled forward from year six to year three of the mine plan. Changes are expected to lift average annual gold production from roughly 110,000 ounces toward 150,000 ounces, with further upside flagged given stronger-than-modeled infill grades at Lucky Strike, a zone management now believes could exceed Sullivan in scale. A feasibility study is targeted for year-end 2026, with full permitting guided toward the end of 2027 and first production expected in 2029. The infrastructure case is a key differentiator. The property already has paved highway access, power lines crossing the claim block, secured water rights, and an extensive network of legacy drill roads that reduce both permitting exposure and construction lead time. A staged, lower-cost heap-leach start for oxide material, ahead of the larger sulfide build, further de-risks the capital timeline. Recent drilling results reinforce the growth narrative, including a high-grade intercept of 183 grams per tonne gold with 4% copper over five feet at Lucky Strike, alongside visible gold in core. The project's technical team, led by Chief Exploration Officer Ken McNaughton and project managers Fred Brown and Joy Lester, brings direct prior experience building mines on comparable timelines. For investors evaluating jurisdiction, infrastructure, and execution risk together, Gabbs presents a project with a defined near-term catalyst path (feasibility study, permitting) and multi-year exploration upside still ahead of it, positioned at a moment when the market is actively seeking projects capable of delivering 100,000 to 150,000+ ounces of annual gold production. — Learn more: https://cruxinvestor.com/companies/p2-gold Sign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com
