In this Silver Pros video from Thursday, March 9th, Silver dragons and I discuss what we’re doing with our silver stacking right now. The video was recorded just before the news over the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank when viral. I went live on Friday to briefly discuss SVB, but in this video I boil the news down for us silver stackers. I then relate what's happening with SVB to whether it’s time to tap the brakes or hit the gas with silver! This bank collapse--the 2nd largest in history, and the biggest since Washington Mutual in 2008--can go one of two ways: First, this banking collapse could quickly spread throughout the financial markets...a contagion leading to a banking sector crisis that dwarfs what happened in 2008. It could collapse of US dollar and our economy along with it! Plunge us into an inflationary depression. Or second, it all could be resolved relatively quickly, with a “nothing to see here” FDIC blanket thrown over the whole thing. In the first scenario, the Fed will be forced to stop the interest rate hikes, and their so-called war on inflation. They would be forced to cut rates and possibly launch a bail out. Economists and business leaders are calling for a pivot by the Fed in light of SVB. If that happens, say hello to $50 silver and $2500 gold! I sure hope you’ve been stacking silver and gold! In the second scenario, things calm down, investors aren’t spooked. There is no contagion or a broader run on the banks. The FDIC’s receivership goes fine, and the Deposit Insurance Fund (DIF) pays out up to $250K. The Fed continues their hawkish rate hikes, undeterred. In this case, the price of gold and silver drops back from the spike over the Silicon Vally Bank crisis and continues their downward trajectory. Silver quickly drops into the high teens and gold drops into the $1800s. The question is, which path is likely?
