這條影片是在2007年獨闖中國九省廿六市的第廿四個城市 - 長春. 在長春七天內, 氣溫徘徊在零下14-17度之間. 這條影片是在八年前所拍, 當日到達長春是2007年12月30日, 在2008年1月5日離開往吉林 今天剪輯這條片, 因早幾天, 香港遇上59年內最凍的天氣, 大霧山錄得零下六度, 多人上山賞冰及被困山上, 要出動救援人員上山拯救. 想起自己曾經拍過嚴寒下的景色, 在剪片期間, 把窗戶全開, 氣溫在8度以下, 對住個Monitor剪片, 真是越剪越凍(八年前的影片, 今天重見天日了). 雖然, 現時的影片已經去到1920x1080像素的高清影片, 當時我用的是DV機, 只有720x576像素, 還是用DV磁帶作紀錄, 在現時來說, 當然是落後的制式, 現時不論電腦還是電視, 以經是高清世界, 用這些設備來看DV格式的影片, 有些不太清晰, 還好, 我已經保留一部14吋的顯像管電視, 用來看DV, DVD, VCD及VHS錄影帶, 還是相當清晰. 南湖公園 市內最大的公園, 水面面積達92萬平方米, 湖水清澈,岸柳低垂, 曲橋亭榭, 勝似江南, 每逢盛夏和初秋, 這裏都要舉辦燈會, 民俗風情展等各類活動, 冰封時節, 在白茫茫的湖面上舉辦的冰雪活動花樣繁多.
