This unit is designed to sit on the dashboard of a car, and when it detects no vibration for about three minutes it starts a sterilising cycle where it gives out short low level doses of ozone and other active air molecules to deodorize and sterilise the interior space in the vehicle. Ozone can degrade some natural materials like rubber, but most materials used in modern cars are synthetic and should not be significantly affected by the trace levels of ozone the unit generates. If you use one of these and can smell low level ozone (a bleachy smell) when you enter the vehicle, then just air it out briefly. The sterilisation cycle stops if it detects the vibration of someone entering or driving the car, or after 8 hours. It has two modes - normal and high. The normal mode runs for approximately 10 minutes per hour and the high mode runs for approximately twenty minutes per hour. It can be charged via a USB-C port or by natural sunlight on its solar panels. In some sunny climates with low vehicle use, it is possible for the solar panel to charge the lithium cell to full capacity, and it relies on a protection module on the lithium cell to prevent overcharging. It would have been nicer if that had been included on the PCB itself to avoid the accidental use of unprotected cells.
