🍣 Marinated Tuna Rice Bowl (Serves 2) 🌸Ingredients Cooked rice: 400g Sashimi-grade tuna: 200g 🌸Ingredients (Marinade) Sake: 1 tbsp Mirin: 1 tbsp Soy sauce: 2 tbsp 🌸Ingredients (Sushi Vinegar) Sugar: 1 tbsp Salt: 1/2 tsp Vinegar: 2 tbsp 🌸Optional Toppings Shiso leaves: 2 White sesame seeds: as desired 🌸Instructions 1.Combine the sake and mirin. Heat for about 1 minute, then add the soy sauce and mix well. Let it cool completely. 2.Place the tuna and the cooled marinade in a bowl. Gently mix to coat the tuna. Cover and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes. Turn the tuna over once halfway through marinating. 3.Thinly slice the shiso leaves. 4.In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, salt, and vinegar to make sushi vinegar. 5.Place the rice in a bowl and gently mix in the sushi vinegar. 6.Divide the sushi rice between two bowls and arrange the marinated tuna on top. Garnish with shiso leaves and white sesame seeds. 🌸Note Be sure to let the marinade cool completely before adding the tuna. Heating the sake and mirin helps remove the alcohol flavor. You can also add toppings such as green onion, avocado, or nori if you like 😊 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi!
