Hello Fish Lovers, I welcome you all to my channel Blue Aquatics
I hope you are doing well!!! Friends, if you have kept cute Parrot fish as wet pet at your home then you must have faced a situation where you have seen that your Parrot fish has laid eggs in the Aquarium either on bottom or any toy or any other hard surface. As you can see in this video my Parrot Fish has laid eggs on the toy which I kept in the Aquarium for parrot fishes to hide. I am having a total of 4 parrot fishes in my tank. 2 Parrot fishes are males and 2 are females. So do you think that with only these parrot fishes will these eggs get hatched? You must have also faced this situation that your parrot fish laid eggs and those eggs were not hatched. Do you know the reason why these eggs were not hatched? Do you think that the eggs which you are watching in this video will get hatched or not? Let me tell you about all the possibilities with these eggs: 1. At first, when the female parrot laid eggs these eggs are dark in color. 2. Next, the male tries to hatch those eggs. By moving on these eggs. 3. If the parrot male is fertile then the eggs will get hatched otherwise the eggs will turn white. This means the male parrot fish is not fertile. 4. Moreover, both males and females will try to defend these eggs from other fishes. As other fishes try to eat these eggs. As you can see in this video my male parrot fish is attacking other fish because that parrot fish is trying to come near these eggs and want to eat those. So do you know why these eggs were not getting hatched? The answer is nowadays in India everyone tries to do the breeding. As parrot fishes can live easily with one other then it becomes very easy to breed at everyone’s home. So due to this when we import any parrot fish the male parrot fish is infertile and we can’t do the breeding of parrot fish at home. The parrot fish breeders make their male parrot sterile in order to avoid the breeding process at any other place. And due to this, the eggs get to white after 3-4 days. I hope you like this information. To get more information about this type do subscribe to my channel so you never miss any interesting update. Thanks for watching this video.
