Yes, we are not talking about your regular ugly smelly undead; “The Walking Bacon” zombies are way more dangerous because most people feel an irresistible (almost hypnotic) attraction towards them… They are giant pieces of ugly but delicious fragrant bacon after all! However, thankfully for humanity, not everybody likes bacon. Many vegetarians, vegans, fat-haters, body-conscious and cholesterol-adverse people survived at first by hiding and running from these monsters. But that safety did not last, soon they were all being hunted, bitten and turned and only a handful are still alive… but for how much longer? The Walking Bacons’ hunger seems to have no end. Luppo, Kino, Maria, Tim, Dr. S and Mrs. Jenkins are part of a small group of survivors of the bacon zombie apocalypse. Although they come from different backgrounds and have clashing personalities, they all share a common goal: to live to see another day. The key members of that group are Luppo – the lone wolf turned pack leader, Kino – the unlikeliest ultimate survivor, Maria – a hot-blooded latina goddess, Doctor S. – a compulsive obsessive scientist genius, Tim Poole – a vegan eco-fighter with confidence issues, and Mrs. Jekins – a rheumatic grannie who used to be a spy. Through the series our “heroes” will live crazy adventures and face multiple threats while trying to find a cure for the Zeta virus and figuring out how they fit in this new world. On that process, they will discover that not everybody is unhappy of the way things turned out... Soon they will learn that there are things much more dangerous out there than a bunch of hungry bacon zombies. Sources of Inspiration: The Walking Bacon is an animated parody of the Zombie genre. We use references and draw inspiration from shows and films such as the Walking Dead, 28 Days later, Resident Evil, World War Z, Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead.
