There are a few moments in one's life when it is obvious that no words can console the broken, torn, shredded heart of one who had loved and lost. I understand that heartbreak all too well to sit in my comfortable chair and simply swear and yell and turn red-faced at the lying, psychopathic smug face of a hated dictator who, like other lying fascists think nothing of destroying a human life, of bombing mothers in the middle of giving birth, who cut, stab, beat, rape and pillage innocent families in their own homes, who defecate where they eat, who shoot and bomb and send their missiles into civilian's apartments, homes, cars, and who laugh as they slice through the skin of others with their own DNA, wild with blood lust. No, I could not sit by and do nothing, say nothing, watch in horror, cry my heart out then use distance and my own safekeeping as an excuse for not acting when ACTION IS REQUIRED of those who still have ethics and hearts that feel. The times goes by, things change, the poetry is never penned, the painting never finished, but when one comes face to face with evil it reguires steadfast determination to choose THE RIGHT, to serve THE BATTERED, to render a few weak yet imperative actions regardless of the cost to the body, mind or soul. If not me, who? If not now, when? NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD MEN AND WOMEN TO RAISE UP AGAINST THE LYING DICTATORS AND FASCISTS whether with words, with protests, with phone-banking, with hard earned cash, or with a voice long ago lost, but finally found by the offering up of another, as a gift of time, encouragement, and kindness. And so, here, my dear friends and relations, I offer up a Ukrainian Rhapsody dedicated to the men and women who stand in front of us as we stand back, and for the heartbroken who have so loved and so lost that their very souls are bruised and broken at the core of their beings, the Women of War, the Women at War, the Women who have lost a child by some terrible stroke of horrible bad luck. And in the end, my Ukraine Rhapsody MUST BE dedicated to the hero of the 21st Century, President Zelensky, the most honorable of all the presidents who ever lived during war times. "I need ammunition, not a ride" SHALL ALL THE MILLIONS OF PEACEFUL LOVING CITIZENS OF THE WORLD NOT GIVE THAT HERO THE WELCOME AND THE EQUIPMENT HE NEEDS TO DESTROY THE ONSLAUGHT OF ADDITIONAL DESTRUCTION SOON TO RAIN DOWN ON MORE OF HIS COUNTRY AND THEN OUR OWN? CLOSE THE SKIES FOR GOD SAKE! REMOVE THE PHYSOPATHS THAT ARE KILLING, MAIMING, DE-STRUCTING, ROBBING, PILLAGING, SLAUGHTERING OUR FUTURE, AND DESTROYING THE PLANET WITH THEIR THIRST FOR BLOOD AND GREED AND GOLD TOILET SEATS? STAND UP AND FIGHT WITH ME! NOW IS BETTER THAN LATER. MAY TYRANTS DIE & PEACE PREVAIL!
