A few weeks back, I saw on FB that the guys at Skyhigh had gotten Andrew Showers old B2 Audio Suburban. They are planning on doing a rebuild of some sort and the "old" SMD Maximus XLVIII 48 spot fuse block was not needed anymore. In fact, Jon at SHCA put it up for sale for $600. That thing probably has $600 in copper work alone. I found out the next day that it had sold. As much as I wanted it, I was glad someone else wanted it more. I planned on contacting the "new owner" and doing exactly what I did in this video for them. For free, even with all the missing copper. A couple days later, a long heavy, 60" long box showed up at my door step. I opened it up and put my hand inside before it dawned on me what this could actually be. I stopped unboxing and called Jon. He laughed at me and confirmed with his own video he was waiting to drop. I was busy for the following few weeks and didn't want to open it the rest of the way until I could get video of the rest of the unboxing and restoration. I also needed to find a spot to put it! I think I did good. Thanks again to Jon at SkyHigh Car Audio. He did, in fact, get me. haha! I also of course want to give some love to my bro Andrew Showers who is the original owner of this piece. He used it in a 125,000 watt demo rig for 5 years and it did great. Still looks good, and will live a quiet, retired life on my wall.
